Announcement (12/20/2024): Please be advised that NOAA has extended the voluntary Vessel Speed Reduction (VSR) request for California zones through January 15, 2024 due to the continued presence of endangered whales in these areas.
Who is Eligible to become a Protecting Blue Whales & Blue Skies Participant?
Any company who operates container, car carrier, bulk cargo, or tanker vessels that pass through the VSR zones is eligible to enroll.
